Graduated with a First Class Honours in BA Theatre Design and Production at the University of Wales, Trinity Saint Davids
…and, just like that, University is completed. By far my biggest achievement and I am actually really proud of what I have been able to accomplish here. All of the late nights (all-nighters), the little projects, the big shows and the opportunities I made beyond my University, working with companies like Welsh National Opera, Taking Flight Theatre Company, National Theatre Wales, and so many more.
I have worked with so many talented people over the last 3 years – cast, crew, creatives, mentors and companies. To also graduate with this gorgeous bunch of people was an absolute honour too. A huge thank you to everyone that has made the last 3 years the best of my life so far. I cannot wait to see what the future has in store for all of us. I wish you all the happiness and success in the world!
I’m looking forward to my next exciting challenge of working on a work placement as an Assistant Stage Manager with National Theatre Wales on the ‘City of the Unexpected’, celebrating the life & work of Roald Dahl. I feel like I am in the best position I can be in for this opportunity – thanks to everything I have learned whilst studying at UWTSD and all the professional opportunities I’ve been able to experience. The Theatre Design & Production course has certainly prepared me for a long and successful career in the creative industries. I have achieved more than I ever thought I could here, and I cannot recommend this journey enough.
Farewell, UWTSD. It has been an awfully big adventure and I cannot wait to see what the future holds!
